VFW Boline-Manfredi Post 9662 Auxiliary 4th of July Program. Elaine Podnar, Americanism Chairman organized the program. Thank you for all that attended.

Naomi Miller is a member of VFW Auxiliary 9662. Her late husband was a past Commander of VFW 9662. Naomi is also a member of American Legion Post 632 in Dallas Melcher. They have remodeled their building with these murals on outside of building.   Naomi was honored to have her picture included on the murals. 

Auxiliary Secretary and Americanism Chairman Elaine Podnar did a presentation at the Post on Thursday, June 13th for Flag Day. Long time Post Member Daryl Cummings and Auxiliary member Joy Cummings held the American Flag while Elaine spoke of flag history. Thanks to all that came out to support the 1st annual BBQ! Many thanks to Larry Halbrook and Laura Van Dusseldorp for their hard work! The final results are still coming in but the initial check for $13,500 presented to the Post by Larry and Laura will go a long way in supporting the Post

The VFW Post 9662 members participated in Memorial Day Ceremonies at the Berwick Cemetery on NE 62nd Ave in Des Moines with a firing detail on Monday 27th at 10 am.
