Back by popular demand, the bar-b-que teams will be going at it in a head-to-head competition that is bound to be fierce!!  You can come out and sample some chili, drink a beverage, and fill up on BBQ plate lunches prepared by one of Ankeny’s finest master BBQ’er, Larry Halbrook!  Don’t miss this celebration that raised bunches and bunches of money for Veterans last year!  We’d love to see you there!

Due to the knowledge of customers having tested positive for Covid in the last week, the VFW will be closed until the 4th of August out of an abundance of precaution for our customer’s and staff’s safety.
