Murals on American Legion
Naomi Miller is a member of VFW Auxiliary 9662. Her late husband was a past Commander of VFW 9662. Naomi is also a member of American Legion Post 632 in Dallas Melcher. They have remodeled their building with these murals on outside of building. Naomi was honored to have her picture included on the murals.

1st Annual Red, White & Que BBQ Huge Success!!
Thanks to all that came out to support the 1st annual BBQ! Many thanks to Larry Halbrook and Laura Van Dusseldorp for their hard work! The final results are still coming in but the initial check for $13,500 presented to the Post by Larry and Laura will go a long way in supporting the Post and Veterans that it serves!

Memorial Day Ceremonies
The VFW Post 9662 members participated in Memorial Day Ceremonies at the Berwick Cemetery on NE 62nd Ave in Des Moines with a firing detail on Monday 27th at 10 am.
